2007 NAR Policy Accomplishments
NAR is pleased to report significant accomplishments regarding its leading federal policy priorities. The 110th Congress marked the return of Democrats in control of the House and Senate agenda. NAR worked closely with the new Congress, appearing before House and Senate committees on 17 occasions to communicate REALTOR® positions on major issues. On the regulatory front NAR worked closely with the Executive Branch submitting 14 policy comment letters providing REALTOR® guidance and recommendations regarding federal policy regulations affecting the real estate industry.
